Virgin Charlie Challenge Week#30- Never Sacrifice Form


30 weeks na. Tulad nga ng sinabi ng friend ko, para lang akong buwan. Bibilog, sesexy, bibliog., sesexy. Sometimes I wonder why I’m doing this.

Anyway, here’s an important lesson for all of you who wants to embark in this journey we call fitness and health (or the vain attempt to be sexy so I can get laid, finally).

NEVER SACRIFICE FORM. They keep on saying it sa Insanity Workout Program. If you can’t keep up the form then rest kasi it’s useless to go on if you can’t keep the form.

Form means yung posture at position kapag nag exercise ka. Kapag mali kasi ang posture at position, there’s a big possibility that you’ll hurt yourself. Siguradong magsasakitan ang mga ilang parte ng katawan o magkaroon ka talaga ng muscle injury. At kapag nagka muscle injury ka masisira ang routine mo at yung plan mo.

So never sacrifice form. If you think you’re not already doing it right, then stop and take a rest. Then start again.

    1. It sounds like a joke or an exaggeration, but it's true. Na over-work ang muscles. Nabigla kumbaga kaya bumigay sa sakit.

    1. Well, kapag nag workout talaga magiging sore ang katawan. Pero kapag injured na eh you're doing something wrong.

  6. I used to work out. I almost had a six-pack, but I stopped. Exercise eats too much of my time. I thought I'm gonna die anyway, and I can't bring my six-pack in heaven. Kaya ayun, I focused on what I enjoy doing: reading books and watching movies. :D

    1. Aba at least dumating ka sa point ng "almost having six-packs". Di pa rin ako nakakarating diyan. Hehehe! But yes, if you're like a movie-buff and a music lover, hobbies which need a lot of time for contemplation, working out in the gym will take away a lot of time from you.

      If your goal is to get a ripped body, then a couple of hours is not really that enough. It means changing your lifestyle. Pero sanayan lang din at kailangan matuto na i-set ang priorities. Of course, I'M NOT A GOOD EXAMPLE OF THAT.

  8. ganyan na ba ang shape ng katawan mo ngaun (picture above)?
    kaya ba masakit sa katawan minsan ang workout kasi mali ang form?..hindi to naexplain saken ng instructor ko ah..oh hindi lang talaga ako nakikinig sa mga sinasabi nya haha..
    kelangan ba talagang sexy before you can get laid? hehehe...

    1. 1. Malayo pa ang katawan ko diyan. But I'm on my way to get there.

      2. Not necessarily. Kapag nag workout talaga, magiging sore ang katawan. Pero yung excruciating pain ng mga joints na mahirap i-bend, o yung talagang paralyzing pain ng injured muscle, yan ang mga effects ng wrong form.

      3. Hindi rin naman, pero at least naman I can give a good sight and presentation of myself once I reveal the naked truth. di ba? hehehehe!

    1. Nothing interesting with my picture. Basahin niyo na lang ang mga insights na ipinamamahagi ko. And yes, it would be good for you to get started. Masarap ang feeling at siyempre, to be fit and healthy is like having a life-time insurance and a pension plan. Health is wealth.

  11. ay nag gym talaga ako tapos nagstop kasi nga walang resulta. kaya yung, nagstarve nalang ako. save pa pera ko pumayat pa ako at sumesexy sabi nila hahaha. pero maganda parin yung me form anoh? ang hirap nga lang. at hey! kung picture mo yung nasa taas, ano kaba. praning kana. ang ganda ganda nanun!

    1. Uh not really. I'm keeping myself anonymous. For the following reasons:

      1. It makes people more curious and interested.
      2. I have a very disappointing image.
      3. Nagtatago pa rin ako mula sa mga taong nagpasara ng unang blog ko.
      4. May Cybercrime Prevention Act na, and I kind of consider myself a heinous cybercriminal. Hahaha!

  18. naparito....mahirap nga ang bumuhat niyan....mabigat....kahit kaya mo huwag pakasiguro dahil kung mali ang posisyon mo di mo mabubuhat...dami na kayang di nagtagumpay sa pagbuhat niyan lalo na sa olympic,hehe..

I agree with you. dating baboy.com ako but then I eat something and realize that I need to loose some weight also this is not good and also for my health but with your reason: the vain attempt to be sexy so I can get laid, finally..mas bongga 2! kaya i should start agian kc tumaba ako ngyn hahahaha!

  20. i think would be health enthusiast should bear in mind that it takes time to achieve certain forms. dont be in a rush. and you have to be sensitive about your body. theres no shortcut to a healthier sexier you.
